As a board-certified vascular surgeon and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Widmeyer understands the harm excess body weight can have on a person’s health. It is a direct cause of blood vessel disease and a host of other chronic conditions. Using a scientifically designed program that he successfully followed himself,
Dr. Widmeyer tailors a plan that addresses your unique needs, and can help you lose fat and weight while maintaining
lean muscle mass.
Ideal Protein’s success is science-based and is a medically supervised program, though there is no medicine or medical treatment involved. Tailored to each person’s medical and dietary needs, Ideal Protein weight-loss plan involves eating foods that are scientifically engineered to manipulate the body chemistry to burn fat — not muscle — efficiently. If you “eat as prescribed,” the low-carb, adequate-protein foods help you feel better quickly as the excess weight begins to come off.
The three phases of the Ideal Protein Protocol are designed to help you set, achieve and maintain your weight loss goals. During the Phase 1, we limit carbohydrate intake to encourage the body to turn to its fat stores for energy. By eating Ideal Protein foods, Phase 2 helps to sustain muscle mass while teaching you how to develop smarter eating habits and lifestyle choices, and Phase 3 helps to maintain your weight after weight loss is achieved.
The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol addresses weight issues at their source; reducing carbohydrates and fats while ensuring adequate daily protein intake. In other words, the goal is to lose fat, not muscle. While on the Protocol, through personalized coaching, you’re also provided with healthier lifestyle education so that you are empowered to sustain your weight loss results over your life course.
As an authorized Ideal Protein Weight Loss Clinic, Widmeyer Vein & Wellness Center is stocked with a broad selection of delicious meals and snacks.
Widmeyer Vein & Wellness Center medically supervises each client and is staffed with coaches to help you along your weight loss journey.
Lipomelt is a simple, safe alternative to liposuction. The lipomelt treatment is 100% non-invasive and does not cause any bruising or scarring. Clients often see a reduction in inches in their very first session, best results are achieved with multiple sessions in a few weeks’ time period.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The unique light emitted causes the fat cell membranes to temporarily alter the permeability of the cell wall. This brief change allows some of the fat contents to seep out to where it can then be processed by the body. The LED system has a much higher absorption rate compared to laser treatment therapy due to the refraction and strength of the beam. Typically, each fat cell absorbs approximately 70% of the LED light energy compared to only 40% absorption rate for lasers. The result is far superior results in inch loss and fat reduction.
The lipomelt treatment can be effectively used on essentially every part of the body where localized fat deposits exist that are resistant to diet and exercise. This includes the face, waist, hips, upper legs, thighs and upper arms.
There are no risks or side effects using lipomelt. It is considered a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as traditional liposuctions. Lipomelt treatment is 100% non-invasive and does not cause any bruising or scarring.
After being released, the fat is broken down into free fatty acids and glycerol and it enters the blood stream. Once in the blood stream, the fatty acids can be either used as fuel or quickly eliminated by the body.
During the treatment, you will be placed lying down on a treatment table. Special pads will be positioned in strategic places on your body as you simply enjoy a relaxing 20-minute rest with gentle warmth and quiet music.
No changes are required, but you can expect better results if you reduce your caloric intake somewhat and increase your water consumption to 8-10 glasses a day. Meanwhile, reducing alcohol consumption will help the liver.
