Philosophy:
"As the son and grandson of physicians, I always knew that I wanted to become a doctor. I just couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I grew up with the notion that it is a privilege and honor to be able to do something that helps others.“In medical school, I found myself drawn to surgery, because it is the direct resolution of a problem. I also found that I liked the technical challenge of vascular surgery and found it satisfying... and the specialty in which I could make a difference in people’s lives. But what remained unsatisfying was the surgical ‘stripping’ procedure used to treat varicose veins. “When the new minimally invasive procedure first became available, I wanted to be able to provide the care that could provide excellent results, with far less hassle. 20 years later, I’m proud to have been able to help thousands of patients. And I remain committed to leading with a sense of compassion and to providing the most complete, appropriate and effective care for varicose and spider veins.”
